Guide Services
Our guided tours always include guides, but for those bringing their own machines or renting our machines, qualified guides are available for the day. Group size is limited to max 8 riders only.

Day charge is $ 350 plus $15 per rider (rates subject to 6% Fed Tax, but include the $ 6 per day government charge). Reservations ahead of time are strongly recommended as our guides are busy and we have limited availbility. Riders need to purchase their own trail pass at the trail heads prior to departing from our snow shop at Glacier House Hotel & Resort.

 alexintro

 Alex Szirmai, lead guide

With over 12 years of guiding experience Alex loves to ride hard, lots and steep and deep. 'Dont' come out of bed for put-put, but give me some new terrain to explore and riders willing to learn a new powder trick or two, and we'll have a blast'.

 Myles

 Myles Fraser, lead guide

Local snowmobile professional, 'No Mountain high enough' for Myles. Don't worry about getting stuck either, because Myles' upbeat, low key and ever-laughing attitude will make you ride soon again.

 fantasycamp1

 Bryce Campbell, lead guide

Trained at Toby Creek, and perfected in Revelstoke, Bryce brings 4 years of mountain guiding experience to your ride. Fun, a good rider and always in for a good exploration of the unknown.

Tag-A-long riders
Riders with their own machine who want to tag along on an existing tours will be allowed only if riding levels are similar and the group size does not exceed 5 (one guide) or 10 (2 guides) riders.

Tag along fee is $ 85 per day plus your own trail pass and gov. levy of $ 6 per day. No advance bookings are accepted. Come to the snowshop at 8.30 in the morning to make arrangements. Needless to say, your sled has to be in good shape.

Guided Tours - Private guides
Those booked on guided tours can request a private guide forguideservice their tour group alone. Normally 'Great Canadian' reserves the right to put different guests together in one tourgroup, but this way you'll can have your own group. The advantages of a private guide for your party alone are great. You can ride at your pace and choose terrain that fits your skills and interests the most. You are also able to ride different mountains than in our standard tours, which is a great advantage for returning guests. The additional group charge for a private guide is $ 275 & 4% service charge & 6% GST per day. On request we can accommodate groups of experienced riders for specific departures or riding areas. You must request these specifically and a charge for private guides will be levied. Expert rider tours or certain snow conditions may take guests into more aggressive riding terrain or avalanche prone terrain and may require guests to wear and use avalanche safety gear. These tours/departures are not suitable for inexperienced or novice riders.
